Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Libraries

The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) is the largest multi-level university in Australia, training students for careers in applied science, business, design, and engineering. Through RMIT's expansive home page, users can access several libraries' gophers and catalogs, Project Gutenberg's online books through journal databases, and a bounty of departmental information. Links to an eclectic mix of non-academic sites, such as news about Australia and the WWW, are also available; under the Month's Special and Previous Months' Specials headings, one can find electronic issues of Wired and Time magazines, texts of Northern Territory legislation, and, best of all, Exquisite Corpse, a site consisting of random--often hilarious--phrases like 'sliding gouda is a tragedy waiting to unfold.'
